The 56th annual festival runs from 3rd July to 9th August 2020
COVID-19 pandemic: Should the festival go ahead, either in part or in full, the entry deadline FOR ALL SECTIONS  has currently been set at Friday 8th MAY.  The online form may again be available once the situation regarding gatherings becomes clearer.   The 8th May deadline may be extended for the August Tap and Troupe weekend depending on the evolving situation with COVID-19.  Thank you for your understanding.

For this year’s festival, age will be taken as at 25 June 2020. It is very important that you enter classes for your correct age as at 25 June, not the date of your section at the festival.

2020 PIANO, VOCAL & SPEECH SECTIONS    Entries close 16 April at 10pm.  Late entries will be accepted online until 10pm on 1 May. The late fee payment of $2 extra per class will automatically be added to your entry form from 10pm, 16 April. All entries for these three sections must be paid for by 7 May to be included in the programme.
 

2020 INSTRUMENTAL, BALLET, TROUPE, TAP SECTIONS    Entries close 20 May at 10pm. Late entries will be accepted online until 10pm on 2 June (just after Queen’s Birthday weekend). The late fee payment of $2 extra per class will automatically be added to your entry form from 10pm, 20 May.  All entries for these four sections must be paid for by 11 June to be included in the programme.  

PLEASE NOTE THAT THE MODERN/JAZZ SECTION REMAINS IN RECESS FOR 2020 while decisions are made on the future of this section.

Remember that we have an expanded Troupe Section (including the nomination award). The Troupe Section includes additional classes:
JAZZ, CONTEMPORARY, LYRICAL, TAP, HIP-HOP, BALLET classes are offered for Seniors (mixed age) and Juniors. Please see the syllabus for details.

THERE IS NO CHARGE FOR A PRINTED PROGRAMME ON YOUR ENTRY FORM AS EACH SECTION WILL BE AVAILABLE AS A FREE PDF DOWNLOAD.

SAPACS uses ONLY online registration for our festival. There is no downloadable or printed entry form available, as ALL entries MUST be done via the SAPACS website. Note that the festival has TWO cut-off dates due to the spread of competition dates. Please contact lynda@sapacs.nz or phone 09 2385861 if you need assistance, however, please note that SAPACS is not able to do your online entries for you. Teachers: please get your students to do their own entries. Your students will all get an invoice/summary of their classes entered for you to check.
